Geographic Information Systems

The GIS department provides essential services to Ottertail County:

• E911 Address System – Manage and maintain the county’s E911 address system for emergency services.
• Maps – Expand and maintain all interactive maps.
• GIS Database Development – Plan, develop, and implement GIS spatial and attribute databases that support decision-making.
• Data Analysis – Use programs created to manipulate and analyze spatial data for planning and problem solving.
• Technical Support – Serve as a technical resource for other county departments.
