bullet Rinse.
bullet Dishes, glasses and window glass (excluding the frame) may also be recycled with bottles and jars.
Light bulbs, automotive glass, and porcelain are not accepted.

bullet Rinse the container. Throw away covers.
bullet Recycle bottles/jugs with a number 1 or 2 on them.
bullet All containers must have a neck or spout.
Ice cream pails, margarine and whipped topping containers and plastic bags are not accepted.



Aluminum

bullet Empty cans, rinse.
cansbullet Empty, dry paint cans are recyclable.
bullet Clean aluminum foil and pie plates are also acceptable.


Tin

bullet Empty cans, rinse thoroughly (leave lids attached when possible)
Label does not need to be removed.
bullet Empty, dry paint cans are also acceptable.

Newspaper/Phone Books

bullet Remove phonebook covers & discard
bullet The majority of sales flyers (inside newspapers) are now printed on newsprint (even though they may still look shiny)- which means they can be recycled along with your newspaper!
bullet Please continue to recycle promotional catalogs along with your magazines.



Magazines & Catalogs
bullet Please keep Magazines & Catalogs dry
bullet If possible, deliver your magazines & catalogs to your local recycling center during business hours. If delivery is not possible, items may be placed in a bag, TIED SHUT, and placed in the newsprint section of the county recycling bins.


cardboardCorrugated Cardboard

bullet Remove any packaging materials, flatten boxes.
bullet Brown paper bags may also be recycled along with cardboard
Cereal boxes, soda boxes, & shiny or waxy cardbard are NOT accepted.






office paperOffice / Computer Paper
bullet If possible, deliver your office paper to your local recycling center during business hours. If delivery is not possible, items may be placed in a bag, TIED SHUT, and placed in the newsprint section of the county recycling bins.
Tag board, construction paper, & fluorescent paper are NOT accepted.
bullet ACCEPTED: Printer & notebook paper, White envelopes, No need to remove staples! Shredded Paper (please bag)
