Tips on How to Manage Household Hazardous Waste
Finish using old products before buying new products.
Purchase the amount needed of new products, so they can easily be used up.
Read and follow label directions. (Click to be directed to information on Label Reading)
If you can't use the product, bring it to the Otter Tail County Household Hazardous Waste Facility or to a Scheduled Mobile Collection near you.
 Tips on How to Store Household Hazardous Waste
Store hazardous products out of the reach of children.
Store product in a dry place.
Store product in area where the product will not freeze.
Store product away from heat or flames.
Store product in the original container.
