Tornado Debris Management

The Wadena County Department of Solid Waste on behalf of Wadena County, the City of Wadena, and Otter Tail County, is requesting proposals for the processing and management of accumulated tree and brush debris, masonry debris, scrap metal, shingles, and demolition debris.  This debris was accumulated on behalf of the counties and the city in response to clean up after a June 17, 2010 tornado that impacted a large portion of eastern Otter Tail County and western Wadena County, including the City of Wadena.  “Proposal” Forms may be obtained by contacting the Otter Tail County Department of Solid Waste, 1115 North Tower Road, Fergus Falls, Minnesota, 56537 or 218-998-4898. 

Sealed “Proposals” will be received until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2010.  “Proposals” must be received in the Office of the Wadena County Auditor (415 Jefferson St. South Wadena, MN 56482) before that time.  No “Proposal” received after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010 will be considered as a part of this process.  “Proposal” must be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “Proposal for Tornado Debris Management”.
