This area includes the records of births, deaths and marriages occurring in, or affecting residents of Otter Tail County. These records are viewed regularly by genealogists. Birth certificates can be obtained from 1935-present at any Recorder's Office in Minnesota. Applications for passports are also handled through this area of the office. This department was transferred to the Recorder's Office in 1987.
