The
department has three sections: engineering/construction,
maintenance and administration.
The engineering section has a staff of nine
individuals and is responsible for engineering
design and construction inspection of highway
and bridge projects. This section also provides
technical support to other county departments.
The maintenance section consists of thirty-three
individuals and provides routine maintenance
services to the highways and bridges of
the county. These maintenance operations
are divided into five maintenance areas
which contain a total of ten garages.
The administration section is comprised
of five persons, including the county engineer,
and provides management, accounting services
and clerical support.
