Sealed proposals will be received until 1:00 P.M., March 24th, 2010, by the Otter Tail County Auditor for the supply of Winter Sand. Bids should be submitted to the Otter Tail County Auditor, Otter Tail County Government Services Center, 510 Fir Avenue West, Fergus Falls, MN 56537.
SEASONAL SUPPLY OF WINTER SAND
Approximately 4,200 Ton or 3,000 C.Y. of Winter Sand to be delivered to the designated sites listed below:
2,100 Ton or 1,500 C.Y. to the Fergus Falls Mn/DOT Salt/Sand Facility
2,100 Ton or 1,500 C.Y. to the New York Mills County Garage
Proposals and specifications may be examined and/or secured at the Office of the Otter Tail County Engineer, 505 South Court Street, Suite 1, Fergus Falls, Minnesota, 56537.
Bids will be opened and read publicly by the Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners or their designated representative immediately after the hour set for receiving bids in the County Board Room at the Otter Tail County Governments Services Center, 500-600 Fir Avenue West, Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder’s bond made payable to the County Treasurer, Otter Tail County, for at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal. Sealed bids shall be clearly marked “Seasonal Supply of Winter Sand”.
The County Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, portions, thereof, and to waive informalities.
