The Otter Tail County Highway Department is dedicated to providing and maintaining safe and efficient roadways for both the residents of the County and its visitors. We develop plans and policies to continue the integrity of our infrastructure of 1067 miles of County State Aid Highways and County Highways and 74 bridges.
Transportation Plan
The 2050 Transportation Plan, approved in 2026, serves as a blueprint for making transportation decisions and investments. The Plan offers guidance and direction for elected leaders, citizens, economic interests, and stakeholders throughout Otter Tail County to achieve a shared vision for system preservation and improvements over the next 25 years.
