What materials cannot be burned?
Since 1969, burning of solid waste (garbage) is illegal in Minnesota. Minnesota Statute, Chapter 88.171 prohibits the burning of most types of debris and household wastes. The exceptions are brush/other vegetative materials and some untreated / unpainted wood.
