Building Resilience: Strategies to Improve Personal and Community Well-Being

Many of us hit the ground running each morning – completely unaware of the way our thought processes impact us. We make promises to do better only to grow frustrated when we slip back into our old habits.

It takes practice to develop self-care, but resilience is a skill that can be learned.

You’re invited to a day-long workshop where you will learn how one communities focus on gratitude, kindness and focusing on the good things in our lives helped it become more resilient.

Learn how social connection can be the single greatest predictor of longevity, absence of disease, and quality of life.

Learn how you can incorporate proven resiliency tools into the lives of students, families, individuals, and businesses. You’ll also hear how this work is changing lives.

There will be focused time to work in small groups to develop strategies for your area of influence. You’ll join with others from schools, businesses, healthcare, and government officials to create a plan that can meet both the needs of individuals as well as the community.
